Overview of D7’s Science

D7 is a patented, EPA registered disinfectant, food contact surface sanitizer* and chemical cleaner. A multi-part aqueous solution including hydrogen peroxide and an advanced four-chain quaternary ammonia formulation.

D7 is broad-spectrum disinfectant that is efficacious against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538), Salmonella enterica (ATCC 10708), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 15442), Avian Influenza A (H3N2) Reassortant Virus, Avian Influenza A (H5N1) Virus, Avian Influenza A (H7N9) Virus and Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus. D7 is also a food contact surface sanitizer* that is efficacious against Listeria monocytogenes (ATCC 15313), Escherichia coli (ATCC 11229) and Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 6538) at a 1:5 dilution. Unlike alternate disinfectants and sanitizers, D7 chemically cleaves the spore wall then neutralizes the mycotoxin inside. It also changes the osmotic pressure around the cell, which causes an imbalance in the internal cellular pressure resulting in the total collapse of the cellular membrane.

*A potable water rinse is required after application on food contact surfaces.

Approved applications and uses

This product can be applied through foaming apparatus, low-pressure sprayers, mopping, and soaking systems.
Food processing plants, USDA inspected food processing facilities, hatcheries, farms, dairy farms, hog farms, equine farms, poultry and turkey farms and egg processing plants, meat/poultry processing plants, meat/poultry producing establishments, mushroom farms, rendering plants, canneries, caterers, bakeries, meat packing plants, hide/leather processing plants.
Processing facilities for fish, milk, citrus, wine, fruit, vegetable, ice cream, potatoes, and beverage plants.
This product kills Listeria, E.coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Staphylococcus aureus biofilms. D7 helps to prevent and reduce cross-contamination on treated non-food contact kitchen surfaces. A potable water rinse is required after application on food contact surfaces.
